Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Location: Hybrid, remote and on-site work in Northern Colorado required
Status: Part-time, non-exempt
Time Commitment: Estimated 5 - 15 hours per week with the ability to attend street clinics as needed
Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour pending experience and qualifications
Reports to: Operations Director
The Street Dog Coalition (SDC) provides free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness. We believe in the transformative bond between humans and animals and aim to support both through equitable, compassionate, and community-driven programs. Using a One Health approach to street medicine and pop-up street clinics, we care for both ends of the leash.
Position Summary: The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of SDC on the ground in Fort Collins, CO. This position shares the responsibility of overseeing management of SDC’s mail, bank deposits, and Clubhouse alongside the Operations Director, in addition to supporting our NoCo flagship team where street clinics occur 6x a month. The ideal candidate is a flexible, detail-oriented problem-solver with Google Workspace experience, good communication skills and a passion for SDC’s mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide routine administrative and operational support including 2x week mail pick-ups and bank deposits.
Maintain accurate NoCo client records; collect and submit NoCo clinic stats; register NoCo microchips.
Collect impact stories, photographs and videos at street clinics and events for social media and SDC website.
Communicate with NoCo Team Leads regarding local clinics, follow-up care, and volunteer coordination.
Plan events including local clinics, fundraisers and volunteer appreciation gatherings.
Ship SDC merchandise to donors and miscellaneous supplies to SDC Team Leads.
Maintain the organization and inventory of the SDC Clubhouse, including medical supplies, general supplies, office supplies, apparel, records/files and donated goods.
Assist NoCo clients as needs arise and resources permit; providing coordination support.
Participate in weekly staff meetings, annual retreats, Office Hours, and 1:1’s as needed.
Serve as a consistent point of contact for local community partners and volunteers as well as national staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for The Street Dog Coalition’s mission, vision, and core values.
2+ years administrative and nonprofit experience preferred.
Proficient using Google Workspace and Zoom, aptitude for web based applications.
Consistently reliable and able to handle responsibilities with discretion and trust.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, above average writing skills.
Ability to work effectively with volunteers, interns and community partners.
Self-starter; solutions-oriented; anticipates needs; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.
Experience with volunteer recruitment, retention, and coordination is highly desirable.

ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMMODATIONS

This role may require occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds.
