Team Leads:
Dr. Keri Morgan
Dr. Morgan has a soft spot for cats, but of course she loves all animal friends. She graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO where she met her husband, Steve! Steve hails from St. Louis, and Dr. Morgan refers to herself as a "St. Louis transplant." She quickly grew to love the city, and her passion is to empower her community. How? Through the sacred human-animal bond.
With teamwork, collaboration, and compassion, Dr. Morgan is here to help keep your pet where they belong - in your arms with the medical care they deserve.
And who is the kitty in the photo? That's Nickelodeon! He is a graduate from one of the local animal shelters, and he is Dr. Morgan's all time favorite shelter cat.
Abbey Ayala
After growing up in St. Louis, Abbey Ayala has had the opportunity to work with the city’s municipal animal shelter (CARE STL) and a nonprofit animal rescue (Metro East Humane Society) since her return to St. Louis city in 2023. Abbey’s passion lies in the intersection of animal and human services and expanding access to vet care and resources for families with pets. She also loves working with shy, fearful shelter animals and helping them to feel safe in their environment. Her family includes two incredible pets, her soul dog Lily and a young cat who chirps like a bird named Halsey.
Emily Adelmann
I grew up knowing I wanted to work with animals. I went to school and became a veterinary technician and started my career at Stray Rescue of Saint Louis. Several years ago I became the clinic manager at Care STL. I love working with my team to help the animals in our care. I have always been passionate about working with the community, therefore I'm very excited to be a co-lead on this team!
