Team Leads:

Jennifer Schoedler, DVM

Dr. Schoedler graduated from Colorado State University in 1988 with a DVM degree. Since 2002, she has been the owner of Alpine Animal Hospital. She firmly believes that attitude is the most important factor in any life endeavor. Rarely does she encounter an animal she doesn't like, but her particular affection lies in the practice of feline medicine. Her enduring career can be attributed to the unceasing support and humor of her family, the beautiful town and county she is fortunate to reside in, and a steady supply of Taco Bell bean burritos. When not diagnosing or prescribing, Dr. Schoedler enjoys the great outdoors through hiking and Nordic skiing. In her kitchen, she trades her stethoscope for a chef's hat, whipping up delights. Her off-duty sanctuary is shared with an eclectic mix of companions – a lively crew of cats, chickens, fish, and a trusty dog.

Stacee Santi, DVM

Dr. Stacee Santi, a 1996 DVM graduate from Colorado State University, practiced as the lead veterinarian at Riverview Animal Hospital in Durango, Colorado, from 2002 to 2016. Additionally, she is the founder of Vet2Pet, a technology communication platform for veterinary practices. Dr. Santi has served on various industry advisory boards, held the position of past-president of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, and was voted the 2021 Educator of the Year for the Western Veterinary Conference. Off-duty, Stacee loves playing in the dirt (gardening, that is), cooking up a storm, trying her luck at the casino, and geeking out over tech. Her home is like a mini zoo with 6 horses, 4 chickens, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. Fun fact– she's hoping to add a baby burro to the crew one day!
