Team Leads
Robert Duquette, DVM
After attending the University of California, Santa Barbara (alongside SDC's Medical Director, Dr. Hilary Wheeler!), Robert studied veterinary medicine, surgery and physiology at the University of Liverpool. Robert learned about The Street Dog Coalition through his work with Merck Animal Health which became SDC's Legacy Sponsor in 2021, supplying vaccines and parasite prevention to SDC teams across the country. SDC staff know Dr. Duquette as the organization's "Godfather" given how he is always advocating for The Street Dog Coalition both in his role at Merck and as Bakersfield's Team Lead.
Team LeadBrooke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from CSU Bakersfield and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She works with all animals from domestics to wildlife. Currently, she works as a wildlife biologist and volunteers her time helping all animals from bats to bobcats and of course cats and dogs.
