Alora Wilkinson graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020, with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Though her education was not related to animals, she found herself constantly involved in the veterinary field, working for nonprofits and emergency clinics alike. She has now worked with humans and animals, which helped her develop a thorough understanding of the bonds pets have with their humans. With her passion for helping others, as well as caring for animals, she has found that low-cost and tangible veterinary services are of low supply, while the demand is extraordinarily high. She is hopeful that with continued support from larger organizations and kind hearted humans, the access to low-cost veterinary services will no longer be a struggle for owners to find.
